This barn was built in the 1850's,It is 28 feet tall and is 32x44 minus the lean-too.
In 2007 70mph winds took the back 2/3's of the 15 year old amish built roof off (went 400 yards)
I fixed it that time(with some help from my dad,who can't get on the roof) and in july of 2012 91 mph winds took 15 feet off of the front(went 200 yards),as you can see I've(with some help from my dad) been busy working on it in pic#2,the new metal will be here tuesday.
The lean-too was built in 1965
In the last pic ,I decided to hang the hay forks back up when I had the scaffolding in the mow, notice the rafters are just debarked trees!
And the hay track is wood not steel.I will post new and more pics when it's done!
