This has been in the family as long as I can remember. Would like info for future family menbers. Patened date is June 18. 1882 and it works just fine. Just a little fast.
Thanks

Your clock is an Ansonia "Cambridge" circa 1894. It is an Enameled Iron Case Mantel Clock utilizing an eight day, brass, pendulum regulated time and strike movement. Brand new it sold for somewhere between $16.75 and $18.25 which translates to between $416 and $454 in 2010. This clock still retains much of its original value more than a century after it was manufactured. In original mint condition, it has been appraised in 2004 at $325.
