A lady brought these into the local history center and wants to know what they are. They are ceramic range from about 2" to 3 1/2" tall, five have round heads and four have square heads, with two larger ones resembling shocks of wheat.
They were found in a very old storm cellar in Southwest Iowa.
Bottle stoppers sounds right to me ,I think they were dipped and sealed with bees wax but am certainly not a expert.
