    I love these Drums and the sound is Incredible I cant tell you how old they are or where they were made some of the leather straps have come lose but dose not effected the sound that I can tell, They are heavy and the first one is 10'' tall & the second one is 1' tall I just wanted to show them and I hope you like them like I do wish you could hear the beat of the drum thank you for taking the time to look

      Bayan and tabla? Bayan is the large one, the smaller tabla is played with the doinant hand. Check out : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabla.
