    Tintype of a Stereo camera with additional landscape lens and bell. Reason for the bell? Perhaps to signal to an assistant that the photographer was ready for the wet plate? Or perhaps to get a sitter's attention - although it would be uncommon to use a stereo camera as a portrait camera.
