Just wondering if anyone knows much about the time period this spoon was from. It is marked:

    HEPP PFORZHEIM 90g

I have seen items on the web with similar markings but none exactly like this. For example:

    GEBR HEPP
    GEBRHEPP PFORZHEIM
    GEBRUDER HEPP PFORZHEIM

But none exaclty like this. Thanks!

Gebruder Hepp is "Brothers Hepp" and Pforzheim is a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. You can read about their work at these two sites:

      http://www.silvercollection.it/ASCASBOHRMANN.html

      http://www.hepp-usa.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=52&Itemid=46&lang=en

Hope that helps a bit. :-)

Thank you chinablue. The thing is I cannot find one exactly marked...

      HEPP PFORZHEIM 90.

Maybe I am just not looking hard enough. Thanks!

This was posted quite a while ago but I was just investigating the same and perhaps this will help someone! It turns out that the 90 is the mark of Hepp's creation, 'Hotel Silver'. It was made to hold up to frequent use. Here's the info for reference... https://www.hepp.de/en/company/history
