About 4" x 1.25". Proud, smiling little fellow.
Stamped "If you got to go, go to the River Club. Dewey King. 5 Mi. NO. of Buhl, IDA."
Found the little guy a few years ago while digging a fencepost hole. Recently rediscovered it in a tool box.
Anyone have any info?
I do know that the 'River Club' was an establishment located in the Snake River Canyon of S. Idaho. Not sure when its closed down and subsequently burned.
Curious about the openner's history.
Thanks
This is known as a "Pixie" opener, from around 1910 to 1930. JFO# A-45; with advertizing stamped on it, for Beers, Distributors, Taverns, and some are blank. The value is between $75 and $100, depending on the stampings and condition.
