The Franklin TN Civil War Show was held this past weekend(usually the first weekend in DEC).
It has been a regular event for the last 25+ years and is considered to be the BEST Civil War Show in the country. The show has dealers from almost every state (ran into one who flew in from HI) and about 1200 tables.
Guns, swords and uniforms always get the top billing but there are some fantastic buys on photographs, SAW and World War items as well. A great show to buy and sell!
There is always a battery of Artillery reenactors who fire the cannons a couple times a day!

Spent FRI and SAT at the DuPage County Fairgrounds for the Chicago Civil War Show.

The Nashville (Franklin) Civil War Show was held this past weekend. Another great show with about 1000 tables of Civil War and other eras militaria.
A GREAT event to attend if you have an interest in military collectibles. Unlike a museum you can have a "hands on" experience-- be sure to ASK the vendor before handling their merchandise.

Thanks valentino-- I enjoy all of the shows.
It is really enjoyable to talk with other folks who appreciate history and the surviving relics.
Unless you are out West, there are regular Civil War shows throughout the East/ Midwest.

Thanks for looking rade.
