This is a World War I Real Photo PostCard (RPPC) of a group of soldiers from the AEF.

The soldiers have a painted insignia on their helmets that I have not been able to identify. One (left, middle) has a camo pattern on his helmet.

I also like the gas maks bags that they all wear on their chests.

Postcard is war era with an AZO stamp box.

Any thoughts on the helmet insignia is greatly appreciated!
