Picked up this killer airline cooler off an eBay BIN listing for $CC. Was listed less than 2 minutes... when, what to my wondering eyes should appear, ... and !BAM! I pulled the trigger (apologies to Clement Moore). Sometimes it's about timing more than anything else. I took a page out of TGBWC's playbook by placing this in front of my Vendo. This cooler is a Real Beauty.
Best Regards,
Dave
Sweet find Dave and quick action too.
Nice find Dave, & sweet display , the mancave is filling up brotha!!
Nice snag!!! Looking good down there!
Thanks Guys! Plenty of wall space left. :)
Thank you bratjdd!
This is awesome, love the attached bottle opener
thanks Aimathena. This is one of my wife's favorite pieces in our collection. She doesn't get too excited about the signs, like me. But she raved about this airline cooler. I think it's the functional design and materials of the 50's stuff that makes for fun collecting.
Gotta say Dave, that whole display is awesome! It's like you have created a home for COKE addicts.
Thanks Perry, We enjoy the Coke Cave, for sure. One of my boy's friends was over yesterday for the first time. They went down there and snagged a couple ice cold out of the vendo. I had to show him how to open the bottle. (I'm continually suprised at how many kids we've had over who've never opened a glass bottle of pop before. I guess I shouldn't be.) He kept saying "Boy, are you lucky to have this great room!" I finally replied "Luck has nothing to do with it, it's called hard work and a lotta dollas!" ;0)
LOL, you're right there! Luck was never in the game at all.
Kids always make me laugh, the older I get. Like "luck" is some kind of magic! It's called HARD WORK KIDS!!
And then they want to know how much everything cost! How much did this cost? How much did that cost? How much did that thing over there cost? Oooh, I bet that cost a lot!
Ya just wanna slap 'em! I guess that's why they call'em kids.
It's been like watching an episode of Li'l Rascals around here this weekend.
I'm officially old now! My daughter will be 22 this week and she has her own apartment that I'm paying for, while she finishes college of course. Sooo she has this independence, at my expense!
You're a good dad Perry.
Everything in the last photo is great
