This photo is dated 1910 in pencil on the reverse. It is mounted on a piece of cardboard. It was acquired at an estate sale in a box of antique and vintage photographs.

The photo itself measures 8-1/4 inches wide by 6 inches tall.

The curious thing is that the lady seated on the left with the baby appears to have had her photo taken separately and then added/processed into this photograph later.

    This is an original photograph.

Has anyone ever seen something done like this before?

I'd guess she couldn't make it in time and was put in at a later stage?
