I rescued this jar from a bin because I loved the decoration.
I would like to know more about it if anyone can tell me - perhaps who made it or what it may have been used for? I think it may be old?
I have searched online but with no success :-)
It stands about 20 cm high and is about 10 cm wide. It has a lid with a finial and is glazed in white with green decoration of 4 ladies around the outside. The glaze has little bubbles in it. The jar is unglazed inside.
It is signed but I can't read the signature.
Looking forward to finding out more.

I would guess it is Italian.

I agree with MAwamaMama! It may well be by the Fratelli Fanciullacci too!
