Vintage Donald Stannard Lucky Koi Necklace

Donald Stannard jewelry are very difficult to find since he only custom-makes them when commissioned by his exclusive clients. The Chinese character is pronounced as "fu", which means luck. The koi fish is amazing as it is three-dimensional; the tail is swished, the fins are sharp, and the mouth is open. The whole fish is adorned with milk glass cabochons, but the eyes are a pair of dark Siam red rhinestones and there is a single, large dark Siam rhinestone on the fish's body to add interest to its relief. The "fu" is also has milk glass cabochons scattered sparingly. Signed "DONALD STANNARD" at the back of the fish.
