Here is a ring I made by following some instructions online, and being very patient. It is made out of a silver standing liberty quarter (date unknown). So not to upset the coin collectors, I used a coin that was so beat up and worn down that the date and the images were nearly gone. It took awhile, but it was fun. There are obviously imperfections, and I hope the next one will be a little neater. It fits my pinky.
Art is all about imperfections..
Keep up the good work!

We used to make these rings by repeatedly tapping around silver coins with a spoon before we discovered girls. What a lot of time we wasted. Of course at my age both followings are wasted time.
LOL blunderbuss2. What is better than time to waste tapping a coin?
Actually I'm not that old yet but had more success tapping coins with a spoon. Actually, that's not true but sometimes I think I should have stuck to coins. They were more malleable & didn't change with age.
LOL....classic! Have a good night blunderbuss2!
