    This is another coin silver spoon I found. I am unsure about the year again. It is nice with the hallmark:

      He appeared on the 1850 census taken at Poughkeepsie NY, listed as a manufacturer.

      Thank you vetraio50. Would you say that the DOB is leaning toward the beginning of the 1816-1826 time period?

      The style of monogram may give it away to an expert in US silver. Mind you a ten year period is not bad given that no date letters were used!
