This is a toy my Great Uncle had and when he pasted away my Dad got it.
I thought it was very interesting. It is made of tin, and it winds up.
It has the box with it, which some of the other toys my Great Uncle had also had boxes with them. I think it was made in the 1950's ,but not sure.
I don't know how much it is worth, but they don't made them like that
any more.
A fun piece to have -- love it!
Hope to have one in my collection some day...
This Mego Man is very sought after - because of that it must be quite valuable. According to The Old Robots Web Site, 'This diminutive little fellow was the inspiration for what Ideal would eventually manufacture & call Mr. Machine from the 60s - 70s.'

I got one of these recently with a blue nose on it does anyone know why that is, Its in decent condition without box and wind up doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know what this might be worth in its current condition?
A 1955 Mego Man sold with provenance through the legendary F.H. Griffith collection to a private collector for $23,100 in 2004. It was in mint working condition - the listing did not show a box. I have seen other auctions where the 1950s Mego Man sold for as low as $900.oo USD. There are a number of different versions but they all are highly sought after by toy robot collectors. Perhaps you could get in touch with an auctioneer close by and ask for an estimate.
Thanks that may the next step for me to see if I can find a local or close by auctioneer
