Hanging Wine Dispenser with made in Austria stamped on the bottom. I would love to know if anybody has in information about this item. It has a glass ice cube tube that fits in the middle of dispenser for keeping the wine cool. You touch your wine glass to the spigot and the wine fills your glass, remove your glass and the spigot closes and the wine stops flowing.

hello- I have 1 just like this 1! that very cool-my base is a little differant-and my tube that goes in it is plastic! when i got mine i had no idea what it even was! but your spot on with your discription-thats what it does/keeps the wine away from the ice!! its a neat item-i have seen 3 of them since i got mine! yours is the 3-1 other 1 was claimed to be cystal! im not sure on that-but im no expert! mine has the same top as yours too- do you know the value of yours? that is 1 thing i would like to know-and maybe you might know this to; are these a common item or are thay rare? great pic"s and hope to hear from yea!have a great weekend!

From what I can gather over the internet the worth depends on if it is an original or a reproduction. Apparently the original will be stamped on the bottom of the base like mine. It says made in Austria. It also said the reproductions did not have an ice tube in the middle. I don't know if the information I have is valid or not. I was hoping someone else could help me with this. I think the worth depends on condition but from what I gathered they could be worth between $150-300? Hope this helps. Have a great Weekend yourself!

My mom has one like this. She got it when she lived in Italy. I have always loved it and want it on day.

So that's what that is! I only have the metal part-but at least now I know what it is or was. Thanks

HELLO"how is everybody"-hope all is well! I drag mine out to take a look to see if it matched this 1--and a big "NOPE"! I think mine would fall under the knock-off category! Im thinking the easy way to tell the ORI" to the repo's is the bottom, its flat-and mine has legs.plus the ori"-has a 2nd tray-for drips rite under the wine dispenser/mine has just the 1 tray! plus to top it off it has no stamp that says Austria on it! but on the lighter side of things the wine holder is still very nice-the glass etching looks great too! I just noticed something else; on the back side of the metal stand-the loop ware you would pick it up from-this 1 has a small loop-mine has a large loop that comes allmost down to the leaves,it ends 2"inches before the leaves! so its safe to say that its easy to spot a knock-off"-if you know what to look for! so now my question is;What are the knock-off's worth? Because i really have no use for mine-real or not-I just would have it in a box put away someware-so my 2 boys wont break it!:):) I would rather have it in somebody elses hands that would app"-it-and enjoy it! (and to everybody up here in the northeast"-here comes the snow!yea""! can you say snowday!lol") thanks cody--o-yea"-1 more thing- wiggy do you know how old yours is? Thats something i wouldnt mind knowing-when were these made?
