Can anybody tell me anything about this Steuben Sterling ladel? I acquired it from a lady friend and she didn't know much about it either. It is between 5-6" long. Anything would be great. I don't know if it's worth keeping (since I do not collect ladels) or selling to someone who would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

"I recently discovered an interesting fact about G, W & D, and I thought I would pass it along. Apparently Graff, Washbourne and Dunn were contracted to Steuben glass to provide silver accessories. I found a very interesting bar spoon with the G, W & D mark, as well as Steuben in script. The spoon must have been made to accompany a glass martini pitcher, I would imagine."

Don't forget that Sterling silver is quite valuable right now, not that I recommend melting it down. But to hold onto it certainly can't hurt! Very plain, basic, sleek...my type of style.

Thank you very much for your comments. That certainly gives me some knowledge of what I have acquired!
