The pigs dolls are made for story 3 little pigs between late 1930 into the 40's a few companies did them ,most commom found are ones by Freundlich Co NY . They did lots of novelty doll and military dolls . Very nice set !!!!!!!!! and do have value
Link for one that did not sell like yours and have been re listed

You will also note that the company did not mark the pigs and if you scroll down page on last link you will see the pig :-)

      Made by Freundlich Co NY
      Ralph A. Freundlich Dolls 1923-1945

Freundlich was first known as the Jeanette Doll Company from 1923-1929 at which time they changed the company name to Ralph A. Freundlich, Inc.

Freundlich operated out of New York and are best known for their composition novelty dolls. Most of their dolls are unmarked so they can be a challenge to identify.

Freundlich operations ceased in 1945 when they filed for bankruptcy.

Thank you so much! I had no idea what they were. Or worth. I'm so glas I didn't put them out in a yard sale!! Although I'm not sure how to repair. The one whose Leg was broken (clean) at the calf.

The leg can be repaired fairly easy by someone that does doll repair . I get broke legs on mine often and can repair but you need a long class and lots of supplies . Best IF your going to sell do not repair let them do it , you could make it harder to fix . But it will not affect value much to a person who loves them and does repair .
What a super find I have always enjoyed these novelty dolls :-))))))) So glad you posted them .

Oh and you could please mark this solved so it doesn't keep appearing on unsolved , when I look through pages it gets confusing if they are solved or not and have to read whole thing :-) Thank you and glad you didn't sell them in a yard sale !
