    Hi,
I am trying to identify this pocket watch which was my Great-Grandfathers. There is not much more information I can give other than what is seen in these photos. I haven't opened the back case as I wish to leave that to an expert. The writing on the watch face states: 'International, Made in England' and on the inside of the cover of the lid are the numbers 459155. The watch is attatched to a chain with a T-bar which has 'JG&S' and the number '9' followed by '.375'. Each link of the chain also appears to have '.375' upon in as well as the clasp which has the 'JG&S' initials with '.375'. The watch is in perfect working order and is in mint condition. For most of its life is has sat in my grandfathers cupboard until I recently was given it.
Any further details would be appreciated, please email to: deannie93@hotmail.com

    Thanks in advance.

      Thankyou!
I finally took it to a watch repair store and they have opened it for me, I will post a photo in just a minute.
The photos aren't great, but it reads: [on the movement] "7 Jewels, Warrented English, 173283"
On the back inside lid it reads: "English make, this case guarenteed to wear 10 years, 459155"
On the inside of the back case it reads: "STAR, Denison Watch case Co. 459155".

I didn't think it would be monetarily valuable, my great-grandfather used to pick up all sorts of small things on his overseas adventures (he was a pilot). I am suprised it is still works, having been shoved in a dusty cupboard most of its life.
Could you take a guess as to how old you believe it to be? My father believes it to be 1930's+
      Thankyou for all your help!
