Unfortunately it is torn, but I still adore this image which was clipped out of a newspaper from 1878 (I came across this image by itself, not the whole newspaper). It portrays children gathered together trying to scoop a doll out of the water.
Love it ! Her brothers are trying to save her doll :-) what a great etching! Wonderful thanks for sharing it .
