    I got this at a yard sale. Its about 15" total length and 6" high at the head and made of leather and has glass eyes. It looks like the bottom was painted.

      it's beautiful! i believe that it is a pintail duck, if that is helpful.

      A whole year and this is still unsolved? It's a pintail duck decoy, made by the Armstrong Featherweight Decoy Company, of Houston, Texas. The company dated from 1938-1945. Mystery solved.
