    Found in the basement of my deceased relative. Can anyone share who the manufacturer is, what era and what it is used for? I think it is a beer pull. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

      What a lucky find in the basement for you. This looks like a turn of the century (late 1800s) beer draft tower from Europe. Not sure of the markings, looks like crossed "hops" and "Depose" in French means "to take out". You are fortunate to have this item.
