I would really like to purchase this clock and was wondering if anyone could give me any information about this clock. I have never seen a clock like this and I am a huge Cadillac fanatic so this would go well in my collection. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Does the Seller offer any details?

It looks like Clocks became an optional feature in 1912. http://motorera.com/cadillac/cad1910/CAD12S.htm

From the looks of it, this clock could be a very early model sometime around around there, but I really don't know for sure. There are a couple of very knowledgeable car clock collectors around C.W., perhaps one of them will see your post and weigh in.

I would love to see a picture of the movement. It looks like a made-up piece. The watch is correct but the wood holder looks hand carved by a previous owner. It is definately not factory made.

I misspoke in my earlier post. This clock is a Cadillac clock. I am not sure that it was actually in an automobile. It may of been but I am not sure about that. I am posting a couple more pictures and hopefully that will give a little better view. The person selling this clock says they have never had one like it and they have dealt with many clocks. I really, really appreciate everyone's responses thus far. It is nice having forums such as this to help with different items. Thanks again ahead of time for all your help.

Hope these pictures help. It seems like a pretty neat peice. The seller says it does not work but the dials function properly. That is about all the information I have at this time.

Thank you AR8Jason and everyone for your information. I didn't think it had anything to do with the autoline since I am not sure why a car would need an alarm clock (unless used in a limo, maybe) but with Cadillac you never know. I would have to agree AR8Jason that Cadillac may have put their foot down about them using their script. That probably didn't go over to well. I am still considering purchasing the clock and cleaning it up and hopeful can get it running.

I would have to agree with Kevin after seeing his link. That's definitely very similar to the clock face which you originally posted.

A very strange case. If the seller doesn't have any information on the clock, there's no telling where the clock came from or what it fit into...
