We love it but know nothing about it

We had this lamp left to us by an elderly friend about 20 years ago. It is our favourite lamp but needs a new shade. Unfortunately, all we know about the lamp is that it was made in Italy. The makers stamp on the base is illegible. We would love to get some more information on it so that we can try and get the right shade made up for it.

The lamp is 40cm (16") high and 20cm (8") wide. It is very colourful and bright with a lot of "cut outs" in the body. It seems to be of a very good quality.

Any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated.
