Purchased privately in 2008, I have four of these chairs. Two of them are natural with a thin varnish, and two are stained green with the same clear thin varnish. I was told by the previous owner that they had been acquired decades before by her previous partner after being used as props in a window display at a department store in NYC. All four are marked with the same crowned "harold" signature. I have not been able to figure out as of yet where these are from or whom they were made by.

      Thanks BELLIN68!
If anyone has any ideas or leads as to where these chairs may be from I would really appreciate them. I simply can not find them or their markings anywhere!
