I wanted to show ya all a spoon I have looked for information on for 6 months. Interesting story.
These extremely Rare spoons come with a History
Alexander Russell Webb of Hudson Columbia NY was the apprentice of Charles E. Butler, a jewelry maker. He moved to Chicago on May 6 1870 and Together with his Father-Law Lucien West Conger, started "CONGER & WEBB CO." The company was destroyed in the Great fire of Chicago in October of 1871.
He returned to NY and was a salesman for Tiffany and Co for a while to support his family.
The Rest of his life is Just Amazing. He sold Jewelry was a Business owner, Journalist_ Editor, A Consul to Manila In the Philippines assigned by Grover Cleveland President,
He made history by converting to Islam and was accepted into the Muslim Fraternity In Rangoon Burma,
