    This was given to me as a gift one year. It has been fully restored. Must have been covered with a varnish or something. I do not know if it is entirely original. It says:

    "Made in the USA
    MOHAWK"

      got one very similar in design (but not in such lovely condition) with the words 'big ben' down the other side, made by indestro. i wonder if this was aan earlier model by it's pre company name called Sure-seal.
      It's a lovely machine, i hope you still use it =P)
