I recently bought this Tissot's ladies watch at a flea market, and really fell in love with it. I love to wear it, and it runs fine (only one minute too fast per day). If somebody could help me with more information about this model, I would appreciate it very much!

I have seen images of similar watches posted on here, that were dated to the 1920s or 1930s. Mine differs a bit, since it opens on the side (like a pocket watch). When I open the case, I am not able to lift out the movement in order to read the serial number on it. The watch has a tiny stamp on the same side as the crown, but it is unfortuntely too small for me to read. There is no stamp on the back of the watch.

Thanks for your response, glad you love it! I managed to open the case, and could see the Tisssot label, 56/14k/0.585 for the gold quality, and the number 800263. After searching for Tissot serial numbers on the internet, I guess this could indicate that it is produced in 1937-38.

Thanks again for giving this attention on Christmas Day! I would also like to add that the dial has an outer ring with numbers 13-24, unfortunately not very visible in the picture I posted. After opening the case, I am now wondering if the number "56" in the gold quality information indicates that it was sold in Russia, or was this included in all Tissot watches at that time?
