Framed tapestry that belonged to my great grandparents (I'm 30). I only say french b/c there is a "made in france" stamp on the back. I would think that if it was made in France it would say "produit de france". Any info would be appreciated.

      Hello,
The stamp is printed in English because it was manufactured in France to be exported to the United States. The country of origin and the "made in" stamps were to comply with tariffs and duties imposed by the US. I would believe the tapestry was produced around 1920 - 1930.
