I remember as a kid playing with this little vase (the one on the right). Tearing little pieces of paper up and seeing how much we could stuff inside it. Early entertainment, no batteries or charger needed :-), as the grown ups visited. Somehow I ended up with it. Many years later I saw the same vase in a different color on my wife's grandma's estate sale and I knew I had to have it. I have no idea if they are something special to anyone else or are of any significant value, but I haven't seen any more. And what are the chances both sets of grandparents would have one. So maybe they are a common item, but I am curious to hear any info anyone could share about them. they have a rough outside texture and a smooth glazed inside.

I believe they were made by Morton Pottery. The kind of thing given away as prizes at fairs/carnivals
