I have had these two dolls for several years and I never knew for sure what their value was. They are exactly the same. They both have the buttons on back to move the head back and forth or up and down. They both have the hard halo and same little felt wings and silk underwear and shoes and the same dress. I believe these were only made in 1953.
Can anyone tell me any other information about them?
    Thanks!!

The Wendy Ann "Alexander-Kins" were first introduced in 1953. The Madame Alexander Doll Company continues to produce these wonderful 8-inch dolls today. However, the are no longer called "Alexander-Kins". The name ALEXANDER-KINS, refers to all the 71/2"-8" all hard plastic dolls, such as Little Women, Quiz-kins, Maggie Mix-up and Wendy Ann, later called Wendy/Wendy-kins.

Wendy Ann had the most beautiful and varied wardrobe. In 1953 and 1954 a doll called "Quiz-kin", with push buttons on the back to make the head move from side to side or up and down, also came with an extensive wardrobe. his character doll was inspired by the children on the popular TV Show “Quiz Kids
She is not a real common one to find and yours is in beautiful condition .
      Thanks for sharing her !
