Hi. here is a great 6 panel wall art that i bought some months ago at what i call a junk place. i saw it and could not pass it up. it is enamel over copper. it is about 42x12. as you can see from the pictures it lives and speaks well with its colors. i will be framing it soon.
once again i don't know anything about it.
hope you enjoy it.

No marks on the back? This is a great piece. I would have leapt on it if I saw it too!
Thank you. I am not sure. It is backed by wood. When I have it framed I may take it off and see if it has any marks or name on it.
Thank you again
I am always a chicken when it comes to messing with stuff. I don't have a delicate touch. I think it might be worth investigating this piece though.
I am afraid too. I think it is a great item. I have had people always trying to get it from me.
Thank you for your comment.

SOOOOO Funny... My wife and I were at a furniture dealer picking up a MCM credenza and fell in love with a piece very similar to yours and we talked him into selling us that also. The subject matter is different but the style and medium are the same. Fortunately only ours still has the original frame which is teak.
From what I've found I think the artist is Judith Daner, but like yours my piece is not signed. It seems that she didn't always sign (initial) all her work but I'm trying to figure out the time frame for this one.
I'll try to post pictures.
There you go! An answer after all this time!
I just built an account and uploaded a few pictures of our 6 panel. I am certain they were done by the same person an that the frame would have been the same mid century design as ours.
I have a similar one; the design is the same, but the colors are different. Mine is also unsigned, but the design similarities to other Judith Daner pieces, and the framing (exactly the same) to her other pieces indicate it's true.
I have something very similar. Never been able to identify its origin. I'd post a photo here, but it doesn't allow me to. Email me. farmboyz@mac.com
