    These concrete forms are what remains of some kind of steam engine servicing facility found at a Roundhouse site in Kingston, PA.

    1919 is the year of its construction, as evidenced by the date impressed in the concrete. Next is is a side view of the dated wall. Lastly, we see the structure from another angle. A coaling station, an ash dump, or what? I have no idea.

    These remains are on the grounds of the former Lackawanna RR roundhouse. The Lackawanna certainly built things to last! But as the function of these things, I hope that that knowledge is not lost.
