Hi, new to the site and looking forward to getting on here. I am a younger guy, 25, but i am into vintage and antique items. I value their uniqueness and rarity. I bought these two lamps and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them, dates, maker, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Neither have any markings. The clubs on the lantern one actually come out so i'm wondering if its police? At first i thought it was nautical but I'm not sure now.

    Thanks guy!

OK, I can tell you that I really love the first on. Does that help? Looks nautical.

Second is satin glass, fairly common, looks late40s/early 50s.
Welcome to CW! Great place to learn, I do all the time. Lots of folk resell or trade but we don't talk about it here. Can do so offline. You can ask what things are worth, but it is very international here so can vary.
So here in Chicago, your lamp would go for 15 to 25 bucks!

Let's file the glass lamp for a moment. Took a longer look at the ship's style piece. It is a repro., probably restaurant. The rolling pin things are "belaying pins". Those are(or were) hung along the gunnels for misc. things with the lines/ropes $ usually have a function with the sails. I can't imagine that as practical to have belaying-pins next to a port light(hard to tell colour) This is definately a mid-range. Can't say certain without seeing. My guess is, market it at $40. and take take 10-15. Sorry, but have a happy new year!
