I have a little car about 1 1/4 inch long that my dad had.... he always told me it was his dads toy from 1920s. I'm just wanting information on the item. Can anyone help me?

I don't know anything about this particular toy, but based on the automotive styling of the model, I would guess it represents a car from the 1950 or newer. If that was a toy made in the 1920's, it would be about 30 years ahead of it's time. I could be totally wrong about that, just my hunch. Very nice though!

It would be from the 50's I had one exactly like it as a kid, found it with my metal detector at my parents home that was built in 1947.

i'd guess that it is from the 50s too, but there were toy cars in the 30s and 40s. i have a couple.

Of course they made toy cars earlier than the 1950's. The oldest toy car in my personal collection is from the mid-1920's. But, you would not expect to see a model of 1950's style car that was made in the 1920's. Kind of like finding a antique coin with 30 BC printed on it.
