Kralik - Cameo style #1 - Carpe

I will do a few Cameo techniques that Kralik employed between 1918-1938. This one I call the Carpe Cameo because it has a french style signature on some of the pieces. To produce them... a colorful enamel glaze was baked in to the surface then cutback using a stencil and acid. This process was probably done cold (because the bases are glossy). In the picture with the two pieces the left one is marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA in an arch (the lettering is in the same surface as the rest of the piece), the piece marked Carpe is the body of the glass is not marked on the bottom.
