I found this tool set of what looks to be handmade tools of some kind. It came in the box pictured above, I do not know what the function is or who it was made by. I would appreciate any help. Obviously old, rusty, and used. I tried to clean up a few pieces as seen in the last two pictures.

Maybe a hand drill or chisel???

Are the ends sharp? Thinking along the lines of some kind of leather working set. Found leather punch sets (circular and rectangular shape) but handle was part of punch end. Hopefully someone out there has the answer.

Hi everyone thanks for your comments. The ends are not particularly sharp Bonnie, that would make sense for punching leather. THanks blunderbuss2 for the like!

The long rod could be a punch, however, I see the words SIMANCO and a part number on it.
      Here is something interesting.
"The letters before a serial number refer to the production plant location. If you find the abbreviation SIMANCO on a part of your Singer sewing machine, this is the logo that Singer used to mark replacement parts, according to eBay Guides, in the article, "Selling an Antique Sewing Machine." The abbreviation stands for Singer Manufacturing Company. Replacement parts often have serial numbers or patent numbers embossed or stamped somewhere, as well."
