1958 Ihagee Exakta Varex IIa in good shape. My understanding is that only in 1958 they made the engraved face plate for this model, truely a nice touch.
Update: These cameras are sometimes known or thought of as a left handed camera because the film advance lever is on the left where as, pretty much, all others were on the right. There is a very reasonable explaination for that and it has nothing to do with being left handed. These cameras were made to be used from the waist with a waist level view finder therefore to make photos more acurate it was believed by Ihagee that the camera should be held by the right hand for support and lens adjustment while the weaker left hand could advance the film from the waist level which was intended.
