    Hi vintage Mickey watch fans,

Ever since I got my first Mickey watch with a red strap at six, I have been trying to look for my old Mickey or a replacement. My mum who hoards everything, can't find it in her house but I haven't given up yet even though it is 30+ years ago!

I bought this on eBay recently and altho it doesn't have any markings apart from Walt Disney Production at the bottom of the face, it looks very much like a watch posted 9 months ago by bkhood2 which Kerry had identified as an Ingersoll Time (1968-1971). I am wondering if mine is the same? Kerry, appreciate if you could help.

Many thanks and Happy New Year everyone.

hello bobogal and welcome to the CW Forum. Your watch is a 1970-71 "Mod" style Mickey, these were the last of the manual wind Mickeys under the Ingersoll Contact. These are called either Ingersoll, US Time or Timex, which all are the same company. The way to tell these are the later version is the winder stem and crown are recessed in the case(flat notch area). This is a great looking piece, thanks for sharing. Hope I gave you a little insight to yours.

Thank you Kerry for sharing your expertise, I suspected the recessed crown was significant when I saw it. I am very chuffed :)

Also thanks to everyone for the love.
