17th Airborne Division. European theater. Conducted ABN drops during Operation Varsity.

13th Airborne Division. European theater. Originally scheduled to participate in Operation Varsity, but the lack of a/c caused it to be dropped from the plan. Sent back to the US in preparation for the invasion of Japan. Finished the war without seeing combat.
