This is a nice WW2 cuff bracelet with typical style egraving on the exterior. The center heart has "Mary" with the sides having "South" and "Pacific", but no date.

Most of these are made from aircraft aluminum, but the majority do not specifically identify that fact. Inside the cuff "Jap Zero" is neatly stamp engraved.

I have many others of these posted on Collectors Weekly.

love what our wartime heros made to pass the time and the information left of these items always captures the imagination as to what they may have been doing at that particular moment in time -- thanks for sharing

      Thanks epson.

I agree. These were a very popular craft among the CBs. In fact they made them to sell as souvenirs to other Navy personel and soldiers. It was a "cottage industry" for those with the equipment available. It was prevalent among repair units as well.

Thats very neat Scott! That reminds me of something similar I've got, a pin in the shape of an eagle from the USS Princeton in Korea. I think I'll post it!
