    this one is a very nice sounding 1941 zenith. i purchased this one with a restored chassis and i restored the cabinet removing the original finish,retoning the cabinet and finished with high gloss clear laquer.

      I have the very same one, with the bakelite handle, that a friend of mine fully restored for me. Plays great and it really pops in the room. Yours is perfection!

      They are a fantastic radio with very good sound and te looks are hard to beat.

      You're right, I was very surprised when I got the radio back because it had some issues when I dropped it off. Bad wiring and light was out on the dial, also had to replace one knob due to cracking. Mine has the clear or amber knobs but the same dial needle.
