Found this in a trash pit and was curious as to what make and model car this is modeled after. Could not find a real vintage car on the web with such strange front grill element design. Any one recognize the Toy maker as well. Size is 90mm long x 26 mm wide.
Here a description of your Barclay car. It was available with or without a tourist trailer. Apparently it was not specifically designed after an actual vehicle of the time. I have a picture of it with the trailor. If you would like to see it, I can send you the picture. I can't find where I can include a picture here. Description: BV61 Sedan and Tourist Trailer, sedan, decorative slant v grill, headlamps, solid windshield, four open windows, no markings, inlaid trailer hitch, slush cast, closed pan with four braces, trailer is marked "TOURIST TRAILER" on both sides, six open windows, verticle down peg hitchslush cast, closed pan with three braces, both have white rubber wheels - 6 1/2 inches long.
Love it! Get yourself a nice set of axles and tires for this, and put it on your shelf! Here's one on ebay:

Thanks for the information. Too bad no real car actually had that grille design. It's kind of like the Pontiac Trans -Am Firebird hood decal only way ahead of it's time.
That grill design looks familiar...I just can't quite put my finger on it...
