They are beautiful with its soft and delicate colors! Do you know anything about the technique behind it? Seems to be very well made.

Thank you and these serica vases were made in the twenties by Copier in Leerdam. He used a new technic of tin crackle blowing at the colored glass to reach the crackle effect! Soft and colourfull glass vases.

Interesing Bert! Do you know if the tin crackle was was applied to the glass in cold condition, type one graal embryo that is etched or engraved, etc., and then heated again to be formed into final shape? Ore if it's applied in warm condition as normal?

The number 12 is really beautiful.
That shot of the Serica mark is very clear and helpful o others ars we

I believe that the tin is applied in warm condition.
It is only used for a short period because it is toxic for glassblowers.

Nice Serica items. Did you buy the one on photo 3 on ebay 2 weeks ago? Nice early marking for a spijkerbol serica.
I've posted some serica vases on CW earlier, but I think you've seen them already.

Thanks Bazelmania and yes i bought the third one on Ebeay a few weeks ago.
The serica mark on these spijkerbollen are very rare and thats why i bought it.
I saw that you bought some things with Twents veilinghuis recently, congratulations!

During the auction sunday there was the big power breakdown in Enschede. Total chaos. They continued by candlelight. It was somewhat romantic and I was happy I brought cash, that was the only way to pay.

      Lucky you ;-))
