    I love this pitcher ,it has the most lovely designs that cover surface, even the bottom is pretty! the glass is quite thick is and heavy,I purchased this piece with several other pieces of black glassware ,bowls and dishes, anyone know who the glass maker could be? Mystery Solved!

      this is Indiana Glass #123 Paneled Daisy and Finecut; first introduced in crystal in 1905. Indiana Glass also made the same pattern in colored glass in the 1970s and called the pattern Heirloom.

      all of the colored glass was reissued much later than the original crystal. There's another page at the site above mentioning the black glass to be from 1975:

      should also mention that the black was then called Monarch and sold thru Tiara, which was a home décor retail subsidiary of Indiana Glass. Tiara was sold thru home parties just like Tupperware back in the 1970s.
