I found this guy hiding behind some pots and pans at a garage sale down my street. The people selling him (trying to remove their junk as they put it) inherited him from their great grandparents. They thought he came from Italy, but couldn't be sure. Anyway, they were selling him for two dollars and I scarfed him right up. The body is hinged and comes apart if necessary, but the face of this knight is wood and hand carved. Very cool, and slightly scary! He's about 14 inches in height and the detail is pretty impressive. They had another knight that I took with me as well. He's all copper and doesn't have the face that this one does. I'm not sure where they came from, or if they're worth anything, but they sure were a neat item to find hiding amongst a bunch of other 'junk'!
