Antique Chinese jade goat. It measure 4 1/2in in width and 4 1/2in in height. If anyone could please tell me the age of this piece I'd greatly appreciate it!

Clearer and close-up images of the facial features and bottom right black patches would be beneficial. Also, taking pictures of different angles while allowing the piece to face incoming natural light would help. Judging from the carvings of the horns, tail and furry legs, this piece feels more post Republic and modern. Nonetheless, the overall workmanship and material looks pretty decent. Care to share how did you obtain it?

There's a Chinese > Jade section. Why don't you post clearer images over there?

davezquanw - Thank you for all your input - Unfortunately I shake quite a bit so I'm trying the best I can while taking the pictures, so my apologies for the blurry pictures, but I will take your advice about the light. Thank you!
I bought the jade goat from one of my close friends when she and her husband retired and were moving about 10 years ago. All I know was that she had inherited it from her grandparents back in the 70's.
