I found this little toy in a box of paper stuff - all of it from 1907 - end of 30s. But it says 'Made in Western Germany' on it, so it must be from around 1949. It reminds me alot of the toys designed by Alma Siedhoff-Busche in the Bauhaus movement in Germany. maybe someone knows something about it or can date it by the typography on the box. Whatever it is, it sure is interesting and fun! [and very tiny - the ize of a small matchbox].
love tiny little collectibles -- they are so much fun -- have a brass budha charm for a charm bracelet that in his little bottom is a hidden cavity with a pair of dice made from bone -- so tiny one needs a pair of tweezers to pick them up -- do not squeeze the tweezes too hard or one spends the rest of the day on hands and knees -- have a great weekend -- sorry about the corniness on the tweezes -- just couldn't resist
thanks epson233. your lucky buddha sounds really cool.
