Exclusive handmade sterling silver set consisting earrings: 4 cm long, pendant: 4.5 x 3 cm. and ring. The beautiful miniature roses and other flowers are painted with a fine brush and stand on a light blue background. From Russia dated 1940/1950 and bought in St. Petersburg they told me. It's all in a perfect condition only the top of the ring is a little damaged by wearing.

It's hard to date the set without seeing the mark, they still make those. The cheaper ones are made in nickel silver and may have a maker's mark but not the metal purity hallmark. The silver ones will always be hallmarked and the way the hallmark looks can help date the piece. The hand painted pieces would often have the artist's signature on the back or even incorporated in the border of the design.

Davyd286, thanks for your always instructive comment!

Your set does look vintage but I can't tell from the photos whether it's transfer printed or hand painted. A lot of nice hand painted pieces were made in nickel silver / German silver because small studios or individual artists could not get the license to work with precious metals but on the other hand, a lot more enamel jewelry was mass produced using transfer printing.
